Hello everybody I just left a review of the podcast in the Apple App Store where are you find podcast under the podcasts app is what I meant to say I like this format it’s amazing! I shared it with a friend of mine and he also likes it. He’s fully sighted. He wants to help me succeed in my new journey of learning the piano. I did have regrets about not standing up for myself while mom fought for me to get my sheet music for trumpet two weeks in advance to get it recorded by my trumpet lesson instructor, and also I guess I didn't fight hard enough to be in the marching band either. I was lucky enough to take part in the district honor jazz band and district honor wind ensemble, and the band's CMEA minus the sight reading part sadly.
I did however take part in the solo ensemble in eightth grade when I played Amazing Grace but again, I was criticized for my embouchure and the fact I obviously could not see what was actually written but I also said I have Bell's palsy which causes me to play on one side, my right side which is my dominant side of my face. Although I got a rating of excellent, they didn't excuse that. All of my bandmates kept bullying me since I started playing the trumpet in the fourth grade at age 10. But I love to play. I also love to sing and love learning piano. I'm learning "Easy" by Commodores.
