http://www.dreamhost.com
and
http://www.namecheap.com
offer word press hosting sites at very reasonable costs per month,
quarterly, or yearly, where you can either set up and configure, or
have someone help you get your site up and running. Then you can use a
very accessible interface with chrome or firefox to make edits, create
pages and menus, add media, etc.
Knowing some code is helpful, but not absolutely necessary.
It's a little crazy over these next two or three days with some job
stuff, but I'd be happy to sit down and talk to you further about
this. Let me know. Wordpress even has a shopping card you could use
for purchasing your services or content too.
All the best,
David
