Greetings,
First of all welcome to a place where you will get plenty of support. Second, understand that most scripts will cost money if they are from national known shows. You can certainly find PDFs of many of them for reasonable prices though. It does cost money to be an actor as you have already found.
Third, don’t ever ask if you can bring braille or your own devices to an audition. Just bring them and rock your own accommodations. Once you get parts, you can ask for all the other things you need. Also, be prepared to offer solutions for those who have never worked with a blind actor.  Line, I am doing an audition tomorrow, and I will not hesitate to bring Bill into the audition room if I feel like I still need it. Break legs and major attitudes while you’re at it.
