I hear you. I do community theater and have auditioned for professional
productions. I've been cast a few times along the way, but only once by a
director who had any confidence in my ability to move around independently.
Unfortunately, that production was shut down by the pandemic. Usually when
I've been cast, it was arranged that another character would guide me onto
the stage. Once I got a rejection note that said the directors were
impressed that I'd read a one-paragraph side they'd sent me "on such short
notice". They'd sent it to me two days previously, and all I'd done was put
it on my braille device, think about it, and read it. 

If you really want to act, there are ways, though you might not get paid.
There's a Facebook group called Coalition of Virtually Interactive Drama
(started, with the initials COVID, at the beginning of the pandemic). They
do semi-impromptu readings of plays, most of which are in the public domain.
If there's an improv meet-up nearby, you might be able to just show up and
participate. If you're willing to do live-action role playing (LARP), there
might be a group in your area that does that. The point is to get a lot of
people to see and hear you actually acting, so they'll develop respect for
you. Hope this helps.

I've been to every theater company in my area. Nobody will take me
seriously; they think I can't do anything or move around the stage or
memorize lines. I am done trying to find a place where I can act and
actually have a good experience. It's sad, really.
