[Pibe-division] SAT Tests

I am currently giving the ACT special test to a student. There is a slight difference in the testing fee but all in all the ACT for braille, Large Print, and Audio is still only $37 without the writing portion. You go to the website and look at the Special Testing section to be sure. The fee should not be $250 more!

David,

Jordan took the SAT, ACT, and AP tests all in the last seven months-he paid the same fees I believe. I am forwarding your comment to my favorite lawyer-who I think will say that it is illegal to charge for an accommodation such as this. I?ll let you know. Like I think the fee for Jordan was around 25 and 35 or something depending on the test.

No, it is not usual. The student should pay the same amount as the other students.

I have a teacher who is being told that ETS will be happy to provide the SAT in braille for a mere $250.00 extra. Is this usual?
