I I would just like two great resources that contain books that are public domain. Teachers of the blind or visually impaired select an author and novel or story and can transcribe the novel or short story into Braille using duxbury brailed translation software or enlarge the print text for low vision students. There is one thing to know if you choose a novel you must select a chapter and enlarge the chapter for your low vision student or translate the chapter into Braille for your blind student. Nonetheless there are books for young readers and high school readers. Below are the sites. I use both of them to read great literature.
1.

www.readbookonline.net

2. www.classicreader.com

I did forget that project Gutenberg is also great resource and you can download a novel as a text file and enlarge the print for a low vision student and translate the novel into Braille for a blind student.
