This discussion forum will explore Structured Discovery beyond the bounds of cane travel.

Location: Ming Room, Tower Mezzanine

B. Hands-On: Finding Your Way: GPS101 for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Jamie Murdy & Katie Gilmore, Sendero Group, Roseville, CA. Focus: This will be a hands-on demonstration of the use of GPS as a navigational aid for blind pedestrians, an opportunity to dispel myths, and a chance to experience this technology in real-time.

Location: Participants will meet inside the Chantilly Entrance to the hotel, on the Tower Lobby side.

C. Hands-On: Quiet Cars: Facts versus Fiction. Joleen Kinzer, Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center, Austin, TX.

This hands-on opportunity involves exposure to a quiet car in operation.
