I had my own business about 5 years ago and had a contract with each school
district. I got paid mileage, planning time, one rate for direct service,
one rate for consult and one rate for IEP mtgs. I did NOT get paid for
student absences or snow days. Hope that helps.

self-employed and contract directly with each school district. Do you get
paid when students are out sick? Do you get paid when the school is out
for calamity days? Do you have a general contract or do you develop one
with each school district? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
