[Pibe-division] summer question

Hi everyone,
I have a question. If you have a student or students who need  instruction in technology in order to have equal access like their sighted peers (computer access, doing power point, using iPads, internet research etc) and there is NO time to teach it during the school day because of everything else they have to do, when do you get to it?  I am trying to gather information from around the country to help support our position. Do your students get it through ESY in the summer? What do you do? We are asking for technology over the summer, and even including it in our IEPs and administration is saying NO, that isn't what ESY is for.  I would appreciate input from all who care to share. So frustrating that as a teacher I can't do what my kids need. I must be getting cranky and tired of my hands being tied.
