I am forwarding this on behalf of a TVI in California. Thought it might be particularly appealing to those who love gift cards. A great week and Happy Holidays to all!

Subject: [Eot] TVIs and Technology

Dear Colleagues,

Yes, we are re-visiting one of those hot topics again! My name is Ting Siu, and I am a TVI who, along with another doctoral candidate Valerie Morash, is interested in getting feedback from other TVIs who do, and do not, use technology with students.
Please consider taking this survey if you are a TVI in the U.S. or Canada, and currently maintain a caseload with at least one student in k-12 who accesses some level of the academic curriculum (not necessarily on grade level). If you already took a version of this survey before 2014, please consider taking it again.
If you received this email and do not meet the criteria but know others who do, please forward it on!

The survey is comprised of questions based on 4 scenarios, and should take approximately 45 minutes to complete. Every participant who completes the survey will receive a $15 gift card to his or her choice of vendor (Starbucks, Target, or Amazon).
The survey is available in 3 formats:

  1. Online: http://bit.ly/tvistech
  2. Paper (2 options) :

     * Please print and complete the attached survey, and mail to: Yue-Ting Siu, Department of Special Education, SFSU, Burk Hall - Rm. 156, 1600 Holloway Ave., San Francisco, CA 94132
     * OR Please reply to this email with a mailing address, and we will send you a packet with the survey, payment card, and stamped envelopes for return. You may also choose this option if you know other TVIs who would prefer to complete a paper, rather than online, version of a survey.

  1. Phone: 415-857-3887<tel:415-857-3887> (please leave a message with your availability and time zone, and someone will call you to do the survey over the phone)
Thank you in advance for your time and efforts helping us understand TVIs, and how or if technology helps provide accessible instructional materials in schools. All survey responses will be anonymous, regardless of online, paper, or phone formats.

Hope everyone is hanging in there before the holidays - break is almost here!

Cheers,
Ting
