I think this is a great idea and a big project to work on.  You are right
though in saying that it would have to be led by chapters and affiliates.
But, it takes interested and willing volunteers like you to pitch the idea
and step up to get it done.  ON a smaller scale though, chapters could start
a Braille reading circle where Braille readers tutored other interested in
learning Braille, or small group lessons after meetings and grow that too.
These are the kind of thing an affiliate could apply for an imagination
grant to run.  Great idea.

	I was our Chapter's lead Braille instructor for about six months
when we had a Braille class going, so I would be all for it. Go for it!

Hi, all,
	I had a great idea, something like the Bell program for adults. It
wouldn't have all of the fun activities for the kids, but maybe something
close. It would have to be something run by affiliates. I was touring my
soon-to-be high school, and one of the Costodians said he was legally blind,
and the rehab agency wouldn't teach him braille. He is trying to read the
braille signs at the school. What do you think of the idea?
