Sent from my iPhone. Thanks to all who responded to my query regarding teaching students who are blind/vi virtually. My interview went well today. I’d be teaching students who are blind or visually impaired without additional disabilities via a platform zooom which is similar to skype. The student would have an aide woo would confirm what the student is doing and guide the student. The hourly rate according to the district is either ?irty to forty dollars per hour. I'd be paying my own taxes but I've done this type of job in the past. Below are a few more questions. Are there tips for teaching studonts who are blind or visually impaired virtually? Regarding teaching materials, such as Building On Patterns UEB would I be required to purchase these materials or would it be coverd uner federal quota funds? From my previous teaching experience, teaching students in a school setting or at the student's home, the material is usually shipped to where the service is being provided. Thanks for a anyode's input regarding the matter. Sara Rooz Certified TVI in NY email: sararooz at gmail.com anyone's
