[Promotion-technology] Accessible Content Management Systems

With the size and scope of your project, you might need to utilize a
mixture of CMS systems...varying systems have strongpoints that you
could take advantage of. Ones I've played with are Drupal, Wordpress
and Joomla and I would agree that Wordpress and Drupal are very
accessible. My recommendation for you only because of the scope of
what you aim to do is to utilize Drupal. It is very extensible, it has
many, many plugins, it gives you lots of control...it doesn't assume
that you need or want anything. Because of it having a myriad of
options, it can be a bit daunting to find out the best solution for
what you are attempting to do, however many modules and forums exist
to help you out. Wordpress is powerful and is used alongside Drupal
for many sites...however most of the time Wordpress on its own is used
for smaller to maybe more medium-sized projects. It isn't as
extensible and does things slightly different. It tries to make things
easier for you and to hold your hand a bit more than a Drupal will.
There are guides on the net about the general differences between the
two that will outline them better than I have. Again, both systems are
accessible and both potentially could accomplish your needs, although
I think you'll find that Drupal with a larger project like the one
you're talking about will work a bit better...and again it might be
something where you utilize multiple content management systems to
maximize your productivity and results.
Thanks.
