Ariadnie GPS is very good at letting you define specific points of interest
whether or not they are on the street. It does not depend on a map but on
specific coordinates that it knows. I know people who use it to identify
trash dumpsters that are in parking lots without any real landmarks.

Subject: [Promotion-technology] Navigation Apps

Hello list members,
Can anyone point me in the direction of an app that allows the creation of
beacons or points of interest in a location like a college campus.
I work for UCLA, and we are trying to map our campus so that blind/low
vision students can navigate the campus independently.
