[rehab] braille overlays

The guy who runs the local laundromat asked me if braille labeling the washers and dryers would help. I have the buttons memorized but I told him it might not be a bad idea for other blind people now or in the future.

Is there anything helpful I can tell him or suggest to him?

Are there ways to get braille overlays for stuff like that without it costing him an arm and a leg to do?

I've labeled things at home with my clear braille labeling tape and do realize it's not any heavy duty solution for the laundromats needs. The ones I have on the microwave are having to be replaced every so often. I'd think he'd be wanting and needing something a little more heavy duty and wear and tear resistant.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Kate
