Hi, Kate.  A lot of your questions I can't answer, but some I can.  Western 
Michigan University has a rehab teaching program, and I believe most of that 
can be taken online. And no, you do not need the     GRE to enter their 
program.  Many programs you will need that, but not WMU.  I am sure there 
are some other graduate schools that don't require it.  Some only require it 
if your undergrad GPA is under 3.0, but not if it is over that. I've been 
trying to avoid taking the GRE myself, so I'm looking into some of the same 
questions you are.
