is a VR technician a pretty universal term used around the country? And, could I start out as a VR technician and work my way up to being a rehab teacher or a TVI if I do actually have a bachelor's degree or am I still going to run into a brick wall until I finally go do the GRE's and get myself through a master's program?

Yeah, I know, I'm terrified of the GRE's so I'm trying to find any loop hole I can.

I understand the need for certification and I'd do it in a heart beat but standardized tests... I mean, I do okay up til the math part. Why do they have to test my math skills in order to get into a rehab or TVI program anyhow? I can teach kids the abbicus, yeah, okay, that's cool, but I'm not going to have to be teaching the kids all this ridiculousness they have on the GRE's will I?
