Hi Deborah:
Our agency is in the process of testing the newest version of Aware. Since I use Jaws, I am on the team. What version of Jaws are you using?
As far as study materials for the CRCC exam, I took the prep course through Wisconsin-Stout. It is very comprehensive and accessible.
Thank you,
Daphne

Subject: [rehab] Seeking AWARE Feedback and CRCE Study Materials
Hello,
I have two questions. First, I am a rehabilitation specialist at an agency that updated our Aware system last week. I use JAWS. I am having accessibility issues with some changes, such as the RSA 911 additions. In addition, JAWS is losing focus when I sign electronic documents and try to activate various buttons. I do not know if these are specific to our version of Aware. Is anyone else experiencing these issues with Aware?
Second, I am taking the CRCE in October and am having difficulty finding accessible study materials. If anyone has leads for good resources, I would appreciate the tips. I would also appreciate advice for taking the exam with a reader and a scribe. I do not trust the computer for this because I don't think any other blind person has used a computer to take the test in my area, and I do not want to be the one who tests the system.
Thank you,
Deborah
