Hi, I'm assisting a rehab counselor in getting a Lowes employee back to work
after vision loss, and I'm looking for info on any blind individuals who
work for or have worked for Lowes or Home Depot; in hopes of learning what
kind of positions they hold and what their job duties include.  Our client
is still employed with Lowes but has been on long term disability since
losing her vision.  Lowes apparently uses a third party company to help
match injured or disabled employee's with positions where they can perform
the job duties with reasonable accommodations in order for them to return to
work; but of course they, nor Lowes, have any idea about what a blind person
is capable of and/or how to accommodate them.  So, my goal is to help
educate them by demonstrating and providing information on how others are
doing their jobs.
