JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position develops contact with CEOs of companies in South Carolina and secures long term training programs and employment contracts for blind and visually impaired individuals. Conducts on-site studies with companies to determine jobs that can be done by blind and/or visually impaired individuals utilizing assistive technology. Presents the advantages of employing blind and/or visually impaired individuals.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience placing individuals in jobs.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
This position requires knowledge of laws, regulation, policies and procedures relevant to the Vocational Rehabilitation process. Candidate must be able to create and maintain effective working relationships while reaching productivity goals.
