JOB SUMMARY:
We are currently considering LAMP stack developers at the senior skill
level to join us in maintaining and enhancing our eCommerce platform.
You€™ll have an opportunity to work and grow with some very talented team
members in an agile environment. While our primary objectives are to
produce and improve code, you will also work with tooling such as
Ansible/DevOps and Continuous Integration while working in a PHP 7+ enabled
stack.

You’ll have the opportunity to mentor other developers and contribute to
the direction of the development team and its eCommerce strategy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be
expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may
deem necessary from time to time.

Cultivates clean PHP 7.1 compliant code using the PSR-2 standard
Creates unit tests in PHPUnit 6+
Creates Selenium tests
Contributes to MySQL 5.6+ DDL and DML projects
Participates in code reviews, agile planning meetings and retrospectives
Mentors other developers in the aforementioned technologies
Seeks out emerging tech, tooling and other solutions to keep and enhance
our competitive edge

Qualifications- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be
able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed
below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience in lieu
of a degree
5+ years of experience, including experience with Zend Framework 1-3 or
related MVC framework
Experience with ORM’s, such as Propel2
Extensive knowledge of database design and tuning in MySQL
Experience with soap services and REST APIs

Preferred Requirements:
2+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum development practices
Ability to understand and improve Ansible2 configuration management
Ability to develop 508 compliant HTML5/CSS3 code
Working experience using JavaScript and jQuery
Understanding of SEO best practices, targeted towards eCommerce
Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce or similar
platforms

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of
those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential
functions of this job.

The physical demands of this job are limited as most of the work will be
performed at a workstation in our professional office environment.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
