Hi Mr. Davis,
Several weeks ago, there was a post to the NFB jobs list about jobs one
could do from home. I looked into the suggestions made in the post and have
been working for one of the companies mentioned, TranscribeME. This company
takes audio files that clients would like transcribed into text and splits
them into small pieces. Transcribers then listen to the files and provide
the text. There are also opportunities to join special teams and move up to
positions such as Quality Assurance, which provide more chances for income.
I have been transcribing for several weeks and have also been added to some
of the special projects. I was wondering if it would be an appropriate use
of the jobs list for me to post about this position and let others know
about it? Thank you.
