The directives are always very pointedly speaking about veterans, but what it sounds like you are saying here is that any person with a disability regardless of being or not being a veteran is welcome to apply?
Does a person not of veteran status have to follow up as stated for those of a veteran status also if they do go ahead and apply for a job? It would seem to me that they are mostly wanting to track veteran employment, not employment of any non vet, but I am not certain of this. Do we all have to get back with this contact person if/when we got a job or no?

Be sure to INCLUDE the job ID number in the subject line and we will contact the recruiting team on your behalf. Do not have your veterans apply for a position directly on the website, as we will not receive notification that they are a veteran and won't be able to follow up with the appropriate recruiting team. It’s that easy!
