I don't know, but I even sleep with my televion on. I've heard sighted
individual talk about how they sleep with their telievions on. And how they
need their tvs on so they are able to fall asleep
I use my lighting whenever I want to. But if I invite someone who's sighted
and have my lighting over g off, I notice they will turn my lighting off or
they will ask me if it's okay if they turn my lighting on.

I disagree, with no lighting completely. Complete darkness, especially
outside your home or Apartment, invites burglars. To me, some lights and the
sound of a radio or T V, are the sounds of people inside and does offer some
security.

If you can see light maybe it does, but if you can't I'd say it's a waste of
money to keep the lights on and I leave mine off. I do, however, turn them
on for people who need the light.

Hi everyone. I'm not exactly sure how to word this question, but here is a
bit of an explainer. It was Saturday evening and I had just finished supper.
I was sitting at my computer desk when I heard a knock at the front door. It
was a friend of one of my downstairs neighbors with some leftover French
bread from their dinner together. Anyway, I didn't have my lights on since I
don't have any usable vision. She asked why I didn't have my lights on, and
I told her it was because I don't need them when alone in my apartment.
Later that evening another neighbor and I were discussing this. Apparently
this friend had told him that I had no lights on. Here's my question. For
those of us without any kind of mood disorder or anything like that, does
light actually lead to more happiness? Have any rehab professionals on the
list found this to be true? I'd write more, but I don't want to disclose
anyone's personal information. I hope this all makes sense, and thank you
for any responses. I was honestly a bit caught off guard by the question and
in particular the conversation in the front hall that followed.
