Are you blind or low vision and looking for employment? Here’s your big
chance!

The National Federation of the Blind is hosting a Career Fair at the 2023
Washington Seminar. The Washington Seminar Career Fair will take place
Monday, January 30, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET).

The event will be held in-person at the Holiday Inn Washington Capitol –
National Mall, 550 C Street, SW, Washington, DC 20024. It will be a
traditional in-person career fair where job seekers will be able to meet
directly with employers.

Like our other career fairs, the Washington Seminar one will feature a wide
variety of employment opportunities across many fields. This seminar
features several federal government employers, and we have some exciting
private sector ones too.

Job seekers or employment professionals assisting job seekers wishing to
attend the Career Fair need to fill out the Job Seeker Registration Form
<https://nfb.org/form/career-fair-jobseeker-registration>. Employers
wishing to find qualified job applicants should fill out the Employer
Registration Form <https://nfb.org/form/career-fair-employer-registration>.

We have extended registration to *5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 24* to give
more people time to register. Professionals who are helping blind people
get jobs are welcome to attend the career fair too. Individuals who
register by that date will have their registration information and resumes
sent to registered employers and employer information sent to them along
with additional details about the career fair.

*For this career fair, walk-ins are welcome*. Those who provide us with
their name, phone number, email, and state at that time will get complete
employer information sent to them after the career fair.

*You are not required to participate in the Washington Seminar* as a
condition of attending the career fair. Local job applicants and employment
professionals are welcome, as are people who just want to attend the career
fair.
