✅ Wednesday 4th January 2023
✅ 9.15am to 12.45pm
✅ Online conference

Wednesday 4th January is World Braille day, and we are delighted to be hosting our inaugural Braille Conference Six Dots to Success, in association with <https://sightandsoundtechnology.us7.list-manage.com/track/click?u=967baeca2666e923876de6b3c&id=0269f44b43&e=e7ebaaafef> The Braillists Foundation.

During this half-day online event attendees will hear directly from visually impaired people about the continuing need for Braille and its potential for improving their educational, employment and leisure opportunities.

Whether you work with teachers, classroom assistants, disability professionals, members of academic staff at a college or university, or indeed if you're a Braille user or are interested in learning, there’s something here for everyone.

Myths and misconceptions will be challenged, questions answered and sources of help and support identified.

The conference will end with a panel discussion chaired by Roger Firman, Chairperson of the UKAAF (UK Association for Alternative Formats).
