how to enable Silence Unknown Callers on your iPhone: Rita’s iDevice Advice for October 2, 2023


Note:  When running VoiceOver, perform a one finger double tap gesture, when the directions say to tap on an item.
Open the Settings app.
Tap Phone.
Tap Silence Unknown Callers.
Tap the toggle next to Silence Unknown Callers to enable the setting.
Now, calls from unknown phone numbers will go those calls to your voicemail, to review later.  To turn off Silence Unknown Callers, follow the steps above again, but this time you'll toggle the feature off instead of on.
