Great news! Registration is now open for the Fall 2023 course, Voiceover In and Out. This course provides students with in-depth training on the use of the Voiceover screen reader on iPhone, along with many basics about iOS. Whether you are completely new to Voiceover, the iPhone, and touch screen devices, or even if you’ve been using your devices for years, this course has something for everyone. Voiceover In and Out is taught by the TTJ Team, a team of certified Apple instructors* who use Voiceover full time with their Apple devices. Our unique training approach, all new for the 2023-24 TTJ Training Season, will give students a chance to hear real world examples and demonstrations of how people use Voiceover and Apple devices to do things that matter for life, learning, work, play, and much more. Our lecture days will teach you the fundamentals of Voiceover and iOS, and guide you through the basics of putting them to use. Then, our all new Experience Labs will allow instructors, and guests, to demonstrate how they use their devices on a day-to-day basis for things like sending messages and email, watching TV, playing games, listening to music, balancing a checkbook, ordering or preparing food, managing grocery lists and other tasks, booking travel arrangements, creating and editing audio and video, writing stunning documents, and so much more. You’ll even get a chance to experience many such tasks for yourself, with guided, hands-on practice time. We truly believe that this years VO In and Out course will be the best one yet, and we can’t wait for you to join us. Excited yet? Well then this next part will absolutely thrill you. This course remains completely free of charge, and open for all to join. Voiceover In and Out begins on Monday, October 2, 2023, with classes each Monday and Wednesday, from 2:30PM to approximately 4:15PM Eastern Time. The course will run through early to mid December, with a few days off for the Thanksgiving holiday. All sessions will be held in Zoom. If you cannot attend the Zoom sessions live, every session will also be made available on YouTube and on the TTJ Tech Talk podcast. So, how do you join? Simply use the link below to register.
