How to save voicemails on an iPhone, to another location: Rita’s iDevice Advice for June 3, 2024

tap "Voicemail” tab in the phone app.
Tap the "Share" button.
Select a method of sharing, such as: Voice Memos, AirDrop, or Save to Files.
There is no way to share voicemail messages in bulk; you must share each one individually.

Note: If you are using VoiceOver: when the instructions say "Tap on an item", perform a one finger double tap gesture.

Steps to save a voicemail:
When you first open the Phone App on your iPhone:
There are five Tabs across the bottom of the screen:
Favorites, Recents, Contacts, Key Pad, and Voice Mail.

Open the Phone app. The Phone app icon looks like a white phone receiver with a green background.
To save voicemails, make sure that you have your voicemail set up.
Not all iPhone carriers support visual voicemail, which is necessary to save voicemails on your iPhone. If your voicemail inbox can only be accessed by calling a number, you won't be able to download the iPhone's voicemails.
Tap the Voicemail tab. You can find this tab in the bottom-right corner.
You will see a list of all the voicemail messages.
Tap a voicemail message. They will be listed from newest to oldest.
Options will expand.
Tap the Share icon.
The Share icon will be located to the right of the number or contact name.
A pop-up menu will open.
Tap a save option. To save the voicemail to your iPhone Files or iCloud, tap Save to Files. You can access iCloud on a computer to transfer the voicemails there.
Tap Voice Memos to save the voicemail to the Voice Memos app.
Tap Mail to email a copy of the voicemail to yourself or another recipient.
Tap AirDrop to send a copy to another Apple device that is in range.

How to Call & Check Your Voicemail from Another Phone: Rita’s iDevice Advice

If the need arises, you can call your voicemail and check your messages from another phone. You can also delete, replay, save, and even hear the date, time, and number of a voicemail message using this method.
How to Dial Your Voicemail from Another Phone & Check Your Messages Important note: Step two below will vary depending on your cell phone service provider. Check with your cellular service provider to see which combination will work to remotely access your voicemail if neither one of these methods works for you. This tip will work from another iPhone or from an Android.
Here's how to check your voicemail from another phone:
Dial your iPhone phone number from another phone and wait for your voicemail greeting to play.
While the greeting plays, dial *, your voicemail password, and then # sign.
To replay the message, tap 4.
To delete the message, tap 7.
To save the message, tap 9.
To hear the date, time, and number the message came from, tap 5.
