Workplace Computing Program: Foundations & Advanced (Free Meta Glasses!)

Applications are open for our 4-week Workplace Computing Program, designed for individuals who want to remain in or reenter the workforce where strong computer skills are essential.

*	Foundations: Ideal if you’re building skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and screen reader use for workplace or college readiness.
*	Advanced: Perfect if you’ve already mastered the basics and want to sharpen advanced Office tools, screen reader strategies, and ChatGPT for professional tasks.

Participants enroll in one track based on their current skill level, and program length can be adjusted to individual needs. Prerequisites: Typing speed of at least 30 WPM with 95% accuracy, access to a laptop or desktop computer, and the ability to read and write in English.

Participants who complete at least three weeks of the program will receive a pair of Meta smart glasses at no cost.

Screen Reader User Tester Training Program: October 27 - December 5

If you’re interested in building a career in the digital accessibility field where you can make a difference ensuring digital products are accessible, this program is for you! The program’s curriculum builds upon your existing skills, enhancing your proficiency in digital accessibility testing of websites, mobile apps, and electronic documents. Classes will take place Monday to Friday from October 27 to December 5, with a break for Thanksgiving week.

We are pleased to offer On-Demand Tech Support for assistive technology (AT) users, parents of children who use AT, professionals in the field who work with AT, or anyone else with an AT-related technical question. You can request support by filling out the Google form linked below, and we will book a 15-minute session for you with one of our assistive technology experts.

Tech Support is available for help with:

*	Screen readers, braille displays, and magnification
*	Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications, Google Chrome, and iOS
*	General computer applications related to accessibility
