Give Zotero standalone a try (https://www.zotero.org/download/). I 
haven't been able to get the browser integration to work, but the main 
application is reasonably accessible, so long as you avoid entering 
references manually.

  Hi all,

I have installed the free version of Mendeley on my computer, but I 
found it not accessible.
I can see it only as preview on the internet, I can see my groups, paper 
but for example I cannot download the pdf version of shared articles.
Do you know if there is any accessible version of Mendeley? Does exist 
any script to make it accessible?
