Hi Vincent,
thank you very much.
The problem is probably the installation.
Infact, removing Jaws the set up wizard starts the installation of Mendeley, but I cannot complete the installation without Jaws and when I try to use mendeley the setup wizard asks me to reinstall Mendeley.
So, for the moment I can complete the installation witout Jaws.
I will write you after I will install it with someone.
Veronica

Veronica,
Three weeks from now, when the semester is over, I will jump on this. I have dealt with the Endnote personnel a couple of time over the past three years. I originally could not get Endnote versions 4.0 or 5.0 to install on any computer I had. We tried everything on campus and they finally told me that I was the only person out of 1,000 downloads that had a problem. I then knew what the problem was and fixed it. The only difference between my machines and theirs was the fact that I had screen reading software on each of them. I had JAWS, Hal, and Window-eyes on two of them, but my third one only had Window-Eyes. I removed each of them and Endnote then installed without a hitch. Versions 6.0 and 7.0 do install with no problems though.

Hi all,
in my opinion we could send an e-mail to mendeley developers:
api at mendeley.com.
Explaining the problem of accessibility of desktop application, and asking them for support, in order to get the mendeley window accessible with screen reader.
This is the website of developers:
http://dev.mendeley.com/
We can do the same with endnote developers.
Regards,
Veronica

Along similar lines, I'd also be interested in learning about how people are managing their references for dissertations and other papers. I'm currently pasting all my references into pages and pages of a Word document, but I imagine there's a better way. Thanks very much.

Hi all,
I have installed the free version of Mendeley on my computer, but I found it not accessible.
I can see it only as preview on the internet, I can see my groups, paper but for example I cannot download the pdf version of shared articles.
Do you know if there is any accessible version of Mendeley? Does exist any script to make it accessible?
I thank you very much
Sincerely,
Veronica
