Anita,
What activities do you do?  Sounds like you belong to Gold's gym.

I asked about videos; I don't believe there are descriptive
videos out there for workouts.

Here are some ideas.  Most gyms let you have one or two free personal 
training sessions.  Could you ask about that and perhaps use a session to 
learn exercises?  If using the video that came with your ball, ask someone 
to describe it.  The best idea is to be shown by a personal trainer.  If you 
cannot afford it or there are no free sessions, ask someone who knows what 
they are doing such as a sports coach to show you.  You can do crunches and 
push ups on the ball; but I highly  recommend getting instruction before 
doing exercise so you don't get hurt.
Check online for ideas too.
