[Sportsandrec] Spinning

Well, thanks everyone!  I appreciate the words of encouragment and all the tips.  I will keep the cycling shorts in mind, and I'll take Joe's advice to just keep spinning.  Ron, they did help me set up my bike before the class, so I think that was good.  As for riding too hard, I have a character flaw that prevents me from taking it easy, so I tend to push myself too hard.  I will take your advice and try not to do this with spinning anymore.  Carly, I will look at the shoes, but the pair I wore are pretty light and fit easily into the pedals, so I may just keep wearing those.
 
Thanks again everyone.  I will keep you updated on my progress (or lack there of if that is the case... smile).
