Novince to play for USABA Junior National Goalball Team

ELIZABETHTOWN - Dalton Novince cups the heavy blue ball in his right arm. He
spins around and rolls it, much like a bowling ball. The bells inside the
ball jingle ever so slightly and the hard rubber ball creates a rumbling
sound as it rolls along the floor of the basketball court at the E-town Swim
& Fitness Center.
 
Novince does this time and time again, practicing different types of throws
in a unique game called by goalball, which is specially designed for blind
and visually impaired people.


 
The game isn't well known. Dalton's father, John, didn't know what to think
when his son came home his freshman year at Kentucky School for the Blind,
trying to describe the game. John didn't understand the game, but Dalton's
excitement couldn't be masked...Click here for the full article.
