Thanks for the info, guys. I've found some more sights explaining the terminology by simply typing "mixed martial arts terminology" into google. Just for anyone elses reference in case there's someone else out there like me who is interested in learning about MMA.

I find the verbal descriptions of certain things helpful. My BF has explained quite a bit to me and has even physically demonstrated some of the things with me, gently of course, haha. Even so, the descriptions on some of these websites are really great.

Anyway, I also just recalled that they had a typed out play by play on sherdog when fights are in progress. I found that out one weekend I was away and still wanted to keep tabs on what was going on with the fights. I'm usually not by a computer when watching with my BF, but it would be nice to go online later and read through the descriptions if they keep them posted for a bit. I did find that useful and helpful. I just need to get on sherdog more, I think. It seems like a good website, but without really learning my way around I just get lost in the massiveness of that site. *smile*

Well, thanks again for sharing the info.

Kate

There appears tobe.
