Asya Miller, USABA member and member of the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games Gold Medal-winning women’s goalball team was just nominated for an ESPN ESPY Award in the category of Best Female Athlete with a Disability.  

Asya, a dominant force during the 2008 Paralympics, distinguished herself as the competition’s top scorer.  She capped off her outstanding performance in China with a remarkable finish during the gold medal game—she scored all six of Team USA’s goals in a dramatic victory over a very strong Chinese team.
