Subject: [USA-GOALBALL] New Zealand Nationals Day Two



Hi all,

 

The second day of the New Zealand National Goalball Tournament is due to
start in a 90minutes time in Auckland, and if day one is anything to go by
we are in for a treat!

 

The ladies of Canterbury KGB took a 2-0 series lead in their best of seven
shootout with Auckland, and we will be listening to games three and four
today. If Auckland can't grab a victory, then Canterbury will take the title
today with a sweep!

 

In the mens tournament, the two Auckland teams, as expected, were undefeated
during day one, but for Auckland Green especially, they were pushed harder
than they would have liked, and today the reigning champions meet Auckland
Gold in a rematch of last year's final, which went to overtime - this one
could be a classic!

Coverage starts at 08:30 local time, which in the US East Coast is around
about 3:30pm, and in mainland Europe is 9pm.
