[Sportsandrec] family yard sports

Thank you!

I've gotten so many really great ideas! I love the idea of the plastic
grocery bag, cheap, easy and readily available. I'm going to check out some
of the sites mentioned with Kiddo so he can weigh in on what looks like fun.

The horseshoes idea made me think of yard darts. I used to love to play
that game when I was a kid. I'm going to look to see if they still make it.

Thanks again! I'm so excited about all the possibilities!
Julie

For the horseshoe idea, you could get a luggage beeper from a
department store and clip it on or very nearby the base pole. Luggage
beepers are a great (and cheaper) alternative to most auditory
blindness-specific instruments. Balls with bells in them or beepers
often stop working, or skew the sound due to centripetal force--
luggage beepers and plastic bags tend to be the most multipurpose.
