LM, adrenalin is the correct hormone. Endorphins are the body's version of morphine. This is why when a runner experiences that "runner's high," they feel less pain from the workout and their heart rate and breathing slows. Adrenalin speeds breathing and heart rate (and slows digestion, but that's a whole other subject). When you step out on the mat, that's adrenalin, and no way will you want to sleep then. Of course there are a ton of other hormones released during exercise that amp you up.
