Give it a try, the achievement of the goal (fitting into that new outfit) can be a great motivator. "Sexy," hot little number not a necessity. I always recommend something inexpensive (the hope being that you will quickly be buying another outfit for your next goal), and something you can wear to more than just cocktail parties. Others will notice the new outfit, only you will know its significance or what you had to go through to earn it. Let us know how it works.
