Hi Jody, it is too bad. We just must never had come into contact with it.
But I did discover Judo when I was in Cincinnati in 2005 and it was 
great. If I knew all the sports things that I know now my childhood 
would have been a lot different.
One reason I love the NFB is there involvement with blind youth and 
hopefully mitigating the ignorance barriers that kept people like me out 
of things in the past.
BTW my tokuiwaza was tsurikomigoshi if I'm remembering it right. I 
haven't done judo now for a couple of years.
