Are you looking for general organizations or ones specific to blindness?
Its my experience that there are not many organizations for blind sports.
You have to go into a class of sighted people and adapt it or join an
organization and learn from other experienced people. We do have a blind
bowling league here called rail blazers and an informal beep ball team which
I joined. But not much else.
I wish there were a class for blind people to learn dance or yoga. I say
this because its taught visually mainstream and I and some others would be
comfortable in a hands on class adapted for us.
But if you want general organizations, I know of some. Like for running the
Achilles clubs.

Hi again everyone,
I am working on a project that I could really use all of your help with. I
am in the prrocess of setting up a new website that will focus on exercise,
nutrition, strength training and many other aspects of fitness that will be
accessable to blind athaletes. It will be done in conjunction to a biweekly
podcast that I will be doing starting in July. What I am looking to do is
compile a list of resources on various sports etc. I know that on this list
we have all different types of atheletes from martial artists to runners to
cyclists etc. There have to be so many groups out there that support all
the various sports. Please help me out by contacting me(off list if you
prefer) with links to as many of these groups as you can.
Thanks very much
Bill
