Julie,
I followed the thread and so far FYI they didn't mention fitness aps.
The only Ap was for yoga.
Bill said he did not know of any aps in response to Kendra's question.

Here is what

I'm sorry I haven't been following this thread because I thought it was
about a speaker in Florida.  I am very interested in accessible fitness
aps though.  So if you guys wouldn't mind very much repeating what
you've suggested, I'd appreciate it.

For a nutrition ap I use My Fitness Pal.  It's free, works very well
with VO and I've always found the foods I'm wanting in the data base.
It will track protein, carbs, fat, salt, iron or just about any other
nutritional fact you can dream up.  I did set my account up on my
desktop computer and then keep it updated with the ap, so I don't know
how difficult it might be if you do everything using only the ap.
