[Sportsandrec] Cooking on New Stoves

Hello Justin,

I don't know but I personally miss the old style stove and dial controls.

Last year we moved in to a house that has a flat top stove and a capacitive
sensitive touch pad. With the bump up dots on the control surface I can't
search around without activating something just by touching it. I find the
stop button and leave my right hand there while searching for the bake
button. If I miss and turn on something else I will hit stop and start
searching again. The temp control is up and down arrow but if you hold them
they will go up and down until you let go. I hate the darn thing. That
doesn't even address the fun of cooking on a smooth top range.

I think the best time for accessibility was the 90s when speech was just
coming out and the controls were traditional dials.

JODY
