I am also a blind hunter, live to hunt!


The best method we have found is what was previously posted, laser sights. I have then on my rifle and hand guns. Crimson Trace, makes a red dot laser that replaces the grips on pistols and works great at night. Still looking for Laser sights to put on my Ruger Blackhawk revolver in 44 mag, can't seem to find any and they need to be green to be seen during daylight hours.


If anyone has any suggestions please speak up. Always fun to tag along regardless if shooting or not thou.

Are you interested in hunting or shooting at a range? I hunt deer, and I
pair up with someone who draws predetermined codes on the back of my hand or
back to tell me where to aim and when to shoot. We use a laser to better
assist my hunting partner in guiding me non-verbally.

I was wondering if there were any blind hunters out there. When I had my
vision I would spend my weekends at the shooting range.  Now that I lost my
site I am trying to learn about shooting techniques that the blind use, so
that I can continue my hobby of going to the shooting range.
