5th Annual TNABA Adaptive Sports Conference
October 24th - 25th

The 5th Annual TNABA Sports after Blindness Adaptive Sports Conference is
unique and unlike any other conference you have ever attended. This event
gives attendees the opportunity to experience hands on, the adaptations of
sports and recreational activities for the blind. What makes this conference
like no other that you will ever attend is because those participants with
sight are blindfolded during the breakout sessions to get the full effect,
while those living with vision loss learn new opportunities that can allow
them to live a much healthier, more exciting tomorrow.
This conference is great especially for any individuals who are blind or
visually impaired and their families, while offering valuable resources for
Physical Educators, Vision teachers, coaches, community sports coordinators
and anyone interested in gaining essential tools to create a more inclusive
environment. With CEU credits, professional development hours, and in some
cases extra credit points from college professors there is no reason you
should not come on out and join us for this two day conference full of fun
and exciting activities.
This year's event once again will be held on the beautiful campus of the
Tennessee School for the Blind and is being offered in collaboration with
the annual Unity conference held by the school. TNABA is proud of our
ongoing partnership with the TN School for the Blind and to celebrate this
unique pairing of these two great conferences, TNABA will be hosting a FREE
luncheon and Conference Preview for all Unity Conference attendees at 12:30
pm on Friday October 24th. This is a great way for you to get a taste of the
action packed weekend. Once you experience a small portion of what hundreds
from across the state and the country have enjoyed for the last five years,
we are sure you will want to stick around to partake of the remainder of the
conference Hands on Adaptive Sports Conference Featured Activities
