[Sportsandrec] Holding onto your sited jogging partner

Hello, I have considered getting back into jogging. In the past I would run
about 3 to 5 miles three times a week. I always held on to my partners
shoulder as we ran, but I am wondering how others have done it, or have been
taught to do it. I even read something about the guide using a rope that
both runners hold onto, but it seems like it would be easy to get out of
sink or loose balance.

Any thoughts would be appreciated
