My husband and I have a tandem bike we bought online from Walmart for about 350 a few years ago. This bike isn't great but is tolerable for an hour once a week. :). Most of the ride involves me nagging him to slow down or pay attention to traffic rules. So a lot of exercise for my jaw.

Cincinnati has a club called Tucando that has tandem bikes and volunteer pilots for tandem cycling. Boston is such a cool city that there must be a cycling club or something there. Perssonnaly I would rather spin or use an elliptical a few times a week rather then rely solely on the tandem.
