[Sportsandrec] Biting the Bullet

My running days would not be possible without my breakfast of one egg over medium with wheat toast. If I eat peanut butter before running I feel sluggish.

It is interesting to me how much we can learn about ourselves when we put our bodies to the test.

Unless you're running down before lunch, I think I would leave the drink for breakfast, I didn't calculate it out but it looks like a good mix of simple and complex carbs, proteins and good fats (depending on your peanut butter). Sounds kind of gross, but try a packet of instant oatmeal (uncooked, be sure to add a little more almond milk)... really sticks to you and adds more complex carbs. Perhaps ice cubes or even frozen bananas for that frozen delight. Years ago I did milk, powdered milk (more proteins), bananas, ice cream, instant oatmeal, and a couple "weight gain" powders no longer legal for sale in many states... I know, the banana milkshake part sounds truly dessert, but it's actually a complete amino acid concoction.

It's almost like drinking dessert. I am thinking for peak value I should flip and have a big breakfast and normal lunch and have this shake for dinner?
